In April 2024 Something Dope brought its open mic experience to Pacific Beach, and San Diego answered with a packed first night. The city called us back for another run in August.

San Diego gave the archive one of its best moments: an artist who pulled up alone, performed an acapella rap, shut the crowd down, and left with new fans.
